As a lead interaction designer, I had been working with Samsung on the development of ONE UI rules and concepts for XR devices, with a particular focus on creating a seamless combination between XR devices and other interconnected devices and spaces.

All started from the ideation process, we researched the way of interaction that was in the 2022 year. Cause we didn't have any spotlights or recommendations on future products, we decided to push it further as much as we could.

After several brainstorming sessions and several weeks of research and development, I proposed to our team the concept of environmental design. The idea was to create multiple areas where users can interact with their interfaces. We planned to have three levels of interaction: two attached to a person and one attached to the environment.

I proposed a vision where information increases with the scale of the object, interface or object-interface. This allows the customer to easily pinch and scale any application to have responsive feedback from their actions.

We presented our ideas to Samsung stakeholders and, after several sessions, developed a final vision that was approved.

We continued developing & finalising the guidelines, my part was to create, design, animate & present all 3D/Mobile interactions and partially mobile interfaces.
